How The Model Works

A cow gains influence by collaborating with other cows. Recent collaboration matters more than old collaboration, and tired cows participate less effectively and are less likely to join automatic events.

Main formula
Pm(t0) = Pbase + ∫0t0 ∑c ∈ Mm(t) Pc(t) · exp[-λ(t0 - t)] · Tm(t) dt
In each event step: ΔPm = I · Em · ∑c ∈ event, c ≠ m Pc Em,next = min(1, Em + recovery) - tiredness if cow m joins Pm,next = Pbase + (Pm - Pbase) · exp(-λ) + ΔPm
Pm(t0)
power of cow m now
Mm(t)
cows collaborating with cow m at time t
Pc(t)
power of each collaborator cow
λ
forgetfulness: how fast old influence fades
Tm(t)
energy/tiredness factor, from 0 to 1
I
event intensity multiplier
Em
current energy of cow m
Recovery
energy restored to cows between steps
Tiredness
energy lost after joining an event
